Hi all,
I was diagnosed with IBS about
15 years ago but for the past 4 years it has got worse to the point I continually go to the toilet, feel I need to go all the time, I have pains in the left side of my stomach and around my belly button every day, my left side of my stomach itches all the time there are no spots, rashes or raised lumps just my skin in that area is now brown also blood when I go not loads but there all the time, I also get horrendous heartburn to the point I'm sick or can't eat my GP has prescribed omeprazole, which helps slightly, i recently had Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy which on my diagnoses sheet he put gastritis and colitis as my Colonoscopy showed mucosa, patchy mild erythema and a few aphthous ulcers in my left colon, when went back to see him he said biopsies clear, there is redness and a few ulcers, not colitis not got celiac, he said he THINKS it's my IBS, cut out fibre and dairy products and if that doesn't help prescript
ion antidepressant!!! Nothing for the ulcers is this right, I personally don't think it's my IBS but I'm not a doctor, has anyone any ideas x
