Does anyone else with IBS have a burning sensation in the armpit area? It's mostly under my arm but also extends down my side, into my back and into the breast area - both sides, but more intense on the right. It's been coming and going for about 2 weeks. Any ideas on how to relieve the pain? It's difficult to sleep. Thanks!

Unfortunately I have burning and tingling pain on my left side that is strongest under my left rib but radiates up my left breast and yes at times to the armpit. Nothing gives me relief. I have been living with this pain ever since an episode of ischemic colitis four years ago. Docs best guess (after many tests and various meds, none of which worked) is that it is possible nerve pain.

Sorry you have to deal with this kind of pain. I know it is difficult to deal with day after day. Wish I could tell you it gets better. I hope for your sake, yours does subside.
