I'm basically looking for a cheaper alternative to the YoGourmet bc it's a little too expensive to me...If not, can someone please recommend another alternative. thanks.

looks great to me! i have a DASH yogurt maker and i love it. just make sure that since the timer only goes up to 12 hours that you restart it once it shuts off to get the 24 hour yogurt.

you have this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AWDTISK/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me= ?
The temp has to be about
110 degrees right, how can you judge temp on the Dash with no temp setting?

yes, that's the one i have. the first few times i made it, i stuck my thermometer in at various times to make sure the temp was perfect. i never use a thermometer anymore just because it always turns out fine.

Ok, just tasted my first batch. Not very good tasting. Added some cinnamon. I'm more interested in the health part of the yogurt rather than the taste though. I'll add some fruits in the future.
