Your case is interesting because most people diarrhea after gallbladder surgery, not weeks afterward. And the typical offenders are greasy, fatty, oily foods, meats, rich sauces, gravies etc. I also had problems digesting raw veggies, salads, tomato sauce, red meat and coffee. Did your doctor request a stool sample? My GI prescribed Welchol at my request, but it caused other problems like constipation so bad that led to hemmorhoids from straining, so I quit taking it. You might try something like organic yogurt, I personally like Stonyfield Yogurt because it has probiotics and the calcium seemed to calm my intestine. That plus the addition of fiber to my diet is what helped the most. I know the fear of having an accident is horrendous. I feel for you! If it helps, you might consider something like Assurance protective underwear, or I heard about something called Butterfly body liners. These are just thin pads that you insert/stick in your buttocks for mild ADL (Accidental Bowel leakage).
