And another Miralax question

Hello, I'm brand new here, and I'm only posting because I saw some other people here having similar problems with Miralax, so i'm going to make it brief.

I had GI problems as a kid, had to go all the time to hospitals for tests because they didn't know why I was having issues. When they found out it ran in the family they told me they were no longer concerned and since then I've been ok. This was 13 years ago. I am 22 now, and was diagnosed in June with IC, Or Intersticial Cystitis. I started getting constipated and assumed it was the meds, as I was told it might be. So I started taking a dose daily of Miralax. I used to use it as a kid, but it never used to make me feel like this.

I always feel like I need to poop even after I poop. I have a lot of gas and it's uncomfortable. It's not painful, but I have been living the last 3 days like I constantly have to poop, even after pooping a lot.

I stopped taking the Miralax and am now looking into maybe a colon cleanse to get rid of all the waste?

I have used miralax and I ended up reducing the dose until it didn't make me gassy or give me diarrhea. I found that a 1/4 capful was plenty to make my bowels move and didn't have the other problems.
