I made a post here a few weeks back about
my condition but I'll re summarize. I've had pressure/pain near in my butt area for about
6 weeks now. It is not an anal fissure or a hemorrhoid, it's been confirmed. It is also NOT constipation, I've been on a high fiber diet for 5 weeks and nothing has changed. It's either the rectum or lower colon but i cannot be sure. The pain is a pressure like sensation, like the urge to use the bathroom. The pain also varies, sometimes it's barely there but sometimes it's enough to cause extreme discomfort that I have to lay down. Also when the pressure gets bad, i cannot pass gas or it's really hard to. In addition to all this, I get occasional lower abdominal discomfort especially after eating.
Things that make this worse are
-Eating- After i eat i always feel the pressure building in my butt. Now yes this is normal when eating but even after i clear my bowel, it is still there (not as bad but still there). I'm not really sure about
this or if it's me being paranoid but my stools have been somewhat thin/narrow in the past weeks. It is NOT pencil thin but it seems thinner than usual. My bowel habits are also weird, sometimes they're normal, sometimes thin and long, sometimes im constipated. Never diarrhea tho.
-Sitting- Sitting will generally make it worse
-Stress- Self explanatory
Things I do that relieve that pain
-Passing a bowel
-Sleeping/resting will almost always alleviate the pain/pressure temporarily but it comes back eventually.
I am desperate for some answers, every doctor i see says the same thing(that I'm constipated but this is not constipation). There is also no blood in my stool and I'm not having diarrhea so they don't want to give me any additional procedures like a colonoscopy. I'm scared, I'm anxious it can be something fatal and I cannot get past this. Any help appreciated please.
