Hey all. This is my first time posting on the IBS forum. I'm on the crohns forum, and I have went into remission from it (at least thats what my GI says) and have also been diagnosed with IBS. I posted a similar thread on the crohns forum, but since this possibly could be IBS related I thought I'd bring it to the experts. I have "attacks" about
two to three times a week (more or less cramping and D and gas). But I've also noticed (regular or D bm) I have this horrible sharp pain in my lower left side that starts when the feeling to go first comes on to hours after the fact. I wanted to know if this was normal for people with IBS and how to deal with it. I'm on hyocycamine for the cramping but that doesnt work all the time. I take gasx pills for the pain when that doesn't work and it really doesn't work either heh. Right now I guess I'm in a whole lotta not working phase hahahaha. I dont' know much about
IBS and I guess now is the time to start. Have they linked it to anything? Anything close to a "cure"? My GI just sort of writes it off as something that cannot be controlled and has stuck me to just dealing with it. I dont know, its all really confusing. Anything would be so very helpful. Thank you all for reading my post, and I hope to talk to you all soon!
