Just curious if anyone out there has had the symptoms I have with What my Dr says is IBS. In addition to bloating, constipation and Linzess induced diahrea I have felt extreme fatigue and lightheaded. It's made it difficult to do anything from driving to working. I'm not sure if it's dehydration from the Linzess or if something more is going on. I went to the ER and they ruled out heart problems and even a stroke. Any info would be helpful.

maybe give us a little background on your gut issues up to now - i.e., how long have you been dealing with it ? what things have you tried ? what kind of doc are you seeing ? anything that might help us help you -

I am not that familiar with Linzess so I looked up the side effects. It doesn't state that it can cause lightheadedness so if you are having chronic D then more than likely it's from dehydration. Fatigue can also be a symptom of dehydration. Try upping your fluid intake or go to the pharmacy and try Pedialyte to see if it helps.

MM it's ironic I bumped into your post just now. I have all the symptoms as you and also take linzess. I've even been to the ER twice and they looked at a heart attack and stroke and like you ruled it out. I noticed my sodium was low had had more tests done last week and they said I have that and overall electrolyte imbalance. My GI said to reduce the Linzess to every other day. I was hesitant to do that cause of my constipation. But after seeing your post I am now going to do it as I know that's the cause. I can't operate on a daily basis off balance being dizzy all the time.
