Hi.
I have a burning sensation in my right side gut every time i eat acidic foods (vinegar, lemon, garlic)....However when i take ghee with them i don't see it (maybe ghee is producing mucin?). i guess this a problem of lack of gut mucosa, right?. The worst symptom was yesterday these days after being taking bile acids ( I noticed great digestions with it) however , after the first days the burning sensation came back, i guess the mucus was cleared. So it helps me digesting fats but kills my mucosa and hurts so much. I can even feel my stools passing by due to no mucosa.
Unfortunately the foods that help repairing it and helping with burning (slippery elm and kudzu ) feed my sibo so im lost. If i eat them i feed silo and if not my pain come back. I noticed that when i stop taking ghee the pain come back, but i cannot take ghee at everytime.
Theres any safe food for sibo or supplement that helps to produce more gut mucosa without being a mucilage's food that feeds SIBO?. I wonder that the main of my flora problems is due to a bad mucosa that makes a hard environment for them. I also have FUT2 gene that could indicate why the mucosa is so weak in my case.
I´ve tried n-acetyl glucosamine and i don't tolerate it. I take jasmine rice twice a day to help glucose production, but it looks like not being enough by far
Cheers
Matt
