Worried

I started to have bowel problems since last November 2014... I have on and off bleeding and diarrhea and sometimes constipation. . I have my colonoscopy last June 2015 and diagnosed with IBS/diverticulosis and internal hemmorhiod. .. until now I still have on and off diarrhea and on and off bleeding. . I'm so worried. Please any advise

Try the low FODMAP no fructose diet (easy google search) for 6 weeks (no cheating, it's a tough diet for most to follow) and then see if your symptoms improve, if they do then you'll discover which food group(s) is/are bothering you when you do the 6 week reintroduction from the diet which is done slowly with each food group each week, then you'll know which, if any, of the food group(s) you may have issues with. This should help both your IBS and diverticulosis hopefully, maybe only your IBS and even at that it'll be some gut improvement.

Stress is also a huge driving force behind IBS so you could try meditation daily and yoga as well which can also be a huge benefit for gut issues in general.

I understand, that's why trying the diet may help with that, not enough is understood about the GI tract, food allergies and such so the diet may be helpful with the bleeding issue.

I experience abdominal pain last November that's why I got abdominal ctscan and ultrasound but both came back perfect clear now no more. As per my colonoscopy result i have diverticulosis and internal hemmorhiod. After my colonoscopy the surgeon said that my colon is perfectly normal no polyps and no cancer no biopsies needed too. It's just that the bleeding is on and off still. Like once every 2 month.
