This post is not meant to be a downer, just a reminder for everyone to be cautious and stay safe during the holidays. Unfortunately accidents happen... one of my friends was hit by a drunk driver last new year's eve. He and his wife survived but suffered a lot of physical and emotional scars.
Just a few reminders:
Make sure that you do not shop alone if at all possible.
Watch for anything abnormal as you come out of the store (always be alert).
Try to park as close to the entrance of the store as possible (I know this is a tough one this time of year).
Try not to go to a lot of stores at one outing (car break-ins are very high during the holidays).
