I am 70 year old with good health. On Sunday all was fine until 8am and mild pain started around belly button. Went to er. Did ct scan and mass image showed up. Doctor went through possibilities: tumor, folded intestine, inflammation. Recommended: laparoscopy exploratory surgery. Found 2 inch inflammation on small intestine. Image shows cut marks circulating around colon and highly inflamed red area. Doctor not sure cause. Injury or fish bones?? Went home next morning and recovery been well.. welcome any input on experience... was this an extreme reaction to some mild stomach pain or would this be the protocol?? Doctor said eat right and problem may correct itself. What will they do if problem persists. Doctor said may take that section out but seems extreme.. because of good health this experience was alittle unnerving and wonder what others would have done.. my 20-20 is stay away from emergency rooms.. thanks for any comments..
