I feel like hell guys.  My guts hurt, my throat hurts and my head hurts.  Blah!!!

I'm wondering if the flu triggers IBS or if the flu makes everyone have D.  I'm dying....

Its pretty common for most people to have an upset stomach with the flu. Go to bed young lady and drink plenty of fluids and keep that fever down with tylenol or advil.

Ahh i feel ya girl!! Ive got a lil somethin goin too...my head and throat feel kinda weird and my IBS is actin up SOO bad today..blahh..hope you feel better!!

I just wanted to pop in here and tell you to feel better Lil! I feel for you that's for sure......both of my kids are just getting over the flu and they were miserable (they have no gut troubles and they got D too). Get plenty of rest and feel better :)

Thanks everyone!  I'm staying in bed but even sleep seems difficult.  sad

I miss enough work because of IBS, and now this.  I hope my boss and coworkers don't hate me.

I always get D with the flu, when I do get the Flu. And I too miss a lot of work. By coworkers are like "Are you taking vacation for the holidays?" I was like with what time, I have a day and a half vacation time, and I sure that sometime around the day after christmas, or the day after new years, I will have a flare up. Always happens after a big meal holiday, even when i do not eat that much :(

Hey Des, I'm feeling much better.... Thank you. I've been loading up on the Vitamin C and I stayed in bed all day yesterday. It was actually nice to lay around and do nothing. Back at work today though... with the sniffles and all that good stuff.

Yes, I'm getting much better too. Toe is healing nicely. My finger is also... still a little tender but not too bad and getting better day by day. :)

I leave for three days and everyone starts falling apart!?  tongue I'm sorry you girls are feeling more under the weather than usual!  Mmm, bed is wonderful, isn't it?  Chicken soup and RICE, always the cures for what ails ya!

Sarita, how was your mini-vacation???

Just when I thought I was getting better I'm not... it's all going downhill. Yuck. I'm miserable and I feel disgusting sniffling and snorting all the time. My tummy is starting to act up again. Hope you all are doing better....

I'm sorry that you are feeling worse again Lil. Sniffles and snorting huh? And they haven't sent you home yet? Here if you are doing that, they are chasing you out the door and acting like you have the plague or something.

Poor Lil girl, I think bad colds are the absolute worst...all the gummy ickiness of the world dredging up inside you and cascading out from every orifice; body aches like sledgehammers thundering on your limbs; fevers that leave you feeling like a wounded animal in the Amazon suddenly slammed onto the icebergs of Antarctica.  Are you staying home today???

Thanks, girls. I'm still at work. They don't send us home here unless we are dying or puking everywhere. I feel guilty for missing work so I will push through for a little while. I hope to leave early though and get to bed.

Sarita, I'm so glad you had a great time away. :-)
