I have had IBS-D for years. I have other metabolic issues so what I used to treat with yogurt, a high fiber diet and occasional Imodium; are no longer an option. There is no question it is linked to stress; I just want to use a Probiotic that reduces the "D" but so far I've tried 3 very well recommended products and 1 initially helped than later made it worse, the others, just make it worse. The one that worked at first is: Digestive advantage, the 2 that made it way worse are "healthy origins" probiotic 30 billion CFU and 8 different strains of live cultures (the 3rd one had the same list). I do not want to say any of these products are not good--they work for many, just not me.
Please--does ANYONE have experience with a Probiotic that reduces or stops the "D" while it restores the healthy gut to what it should be? Thank you.
