doctor is an idiot

I've been having bad pain, bloating, spasms, nausea, weird poos, excessive gas for nearly two months. Went to ER, they said they didn't know. Went to gastro, he laughed in my face and said I was constipated. And it was IBS. I've had IBS since 2001 and this ain't IBS. He wants me to take a laxative and get an xray to see how much poo is in me. I paid two hundred bucks for him to tell me I'm full of poo. He refused to do a colonoscopy, endoscopy or even a stool analysis. I walked into his office looking like I was eight months pregnant from the bloating and he laughs and says I just need to poop.

I suggest you get a second opinion. But....first, I would consider changing your diet, if you eat a lot of dairy and/or carbs. Also, take a good probiotic. Did all this flare up, maybe, after taking a medication........like an antibiotic? Did you have any procedures right before it started?

Have you had a gynecological visit recently? I don't want to scare you, but I've heard that many times, ovarian cancer can have just G.I. symptoms. How old are you? What are your stools like?
