Greetings to all. I'm really at a loss for what's wrong with me. I have stinging pains on my left side, seemingly along my colon. I have also been alternating between normal stool size and small stool. In the morning it's normal, but if I go during the day, it's normal to small in the same sitting. I think that I've also seen a small streak of blood on my stool a couple of times in the past two weeks. I'm really concerned that it might be colon cancer!!! I had a colonoscopy about
9 years ago and it didn't find anything(not even a ployp). I can also feel my colon rumbling on the left side quite a bit. I increased my fiber intake and this only made the rumbling worse. This has been going on for about
2 & 1/2 weeks now. I just had blood work done and all was normal. I'm to call and schedule a colonoscopy on tomorrow(Monday) through my GI. I'm really concerned about
my stool size going back and forth between normal and small. Are these symptoms of IBS, Chron's? Frankly I'm really worried. I'm 47 and not in the best shape.
