Anyone ever had incomplete evacuation with bowel movements????

2 years ago I had a colon resection that removed 11 inches of my colon, had a temp ileostomy that was reversed 10 weeks later. I have several regular bowel movements in the am followed by many fragmented little pieces that are hard to expel without straining.

I have trouble with hemorrhoids, even though I drink tons of water. eat plenty of fiber, exercise, and take Citrucel every am. Therefore not have them become worse by staining, I have to use a little of a fleet enema (remove that solution and replaced with distilled water) to get the pieces to come out. Very uncomfortable feeling like things are stuck there and also that feeling like I have to have another bowel movement again and again is awful.

Does this happen to anyone else?? What do you do? I am a healthy female age 52.

I had the resection from diverticulitis, had one too many attacks, so I went for the elective surgery. I will look that up, thanks for your help. If it continues, I will follow up with my colon surgeon.
