Hello everyone !
I am new to this forum. I had sever stomach problems such as extreme bloating, diarrhea, weighloss (lost 14 Kg in last 12 months), head ache, nausea, blurred vision, fatigue, no appetite, indigestion. This problem started in Septmebr 2016 and later after visiting many doctors, finally after a year in August 2017 they found out I have H Pylori. I was diagnosed and treated for H Pylori. A test done in November confirmed that I am negative for H Pylori.
But my problems did not stop. Even though, I got my appetite back, I can not eat gluten, lactose products, more over I can not eat apple, ginger, broccoli, some specific sugars, nuts like almonds, cashew (I think I am fructan intolerant). I have trouble increasing my weight. Also suffering from anxiety, blurred vision, fatigue, bad breath, stenchy sweat, cramping in stomach. I started taking Magnesium tablets it helped me to recover my eye sight and control my anxiety. Low FODMAP diet gives relief from cramps, fatigue and bloating. Doctors here are of no good help. They give a dead end statement, that I have IBS. But I think I have SIBO (Bacterial overgrowth). Let me know if any of you suffered the same or similar conditions. Is there a hope to recover from this condition ? What kind of medication is preferred for this condition ?
Yep I had and still have all those issues for years. I'm new to this forum and not many ppl answer on here. I even posted pics just to see if anyone had stool that looked similar. I was just recently diagnosed with Lyme disease and bartonella as well. My gut is destroyed. I don't have celiac disease but can't have gluten or it'll screw with my lyme disease and cause more inflammation. I've had numerous rounds of antibiotics over the years and my sibo test was negative but I'm positive I have it. H pylori was neg for me, gallbladder and pancreas all clear yet I get hard cramps , diareah, nausea and vomited after fatty or greasy meals!! Sounds slice gallbladder right? They diagnosed me with ibs years ago whwn they couldn't figure it out which is a load of bs. At last they've done a fecal fat test to see if my pancreatic enzymes are low due to me having fat malabsorption in my poop. Looks like oily poop. Anyone can buy digestive enzymes. I'm going to start HCL which is most important if you need to get rid of sibo or h pylori. Hope this helps. And if you suffer from stomach acid or Gerd like me, you need vit b1 . You would think the more acid you felt then that would mean you habe too much stomach acid, nope its actually the exact opposite. So if you experience acid reflux after eating it really means you have low stomach acid. I work in the medical field and researched my ass off. This will greatly help someone on here .
