I started to have blood in my stool 12 months ago and it went away. for the past year I've felt not like myself. I would have to eat frequently but couldn't eat much. I got severe constipation and pain in my chest so i went to the hospital about a week ago. My lipase level was at 1,000 so they admitted me with pancreatitis.
They did a CT scan, ultrasound, colonoscopy and endoscopy. I didn't have gallstones and there was minor inflammation in my stomach and colon. They released me after 5 days on 8/19. I feel like there is something terribly wrong though. I feel as if I am dying and the biopsies are scheduled to take 7-10 days. I lost a lot of weight. I am 6' 0" and I weight 119 pounds as of today. I had an active life and would eat healthy about 50%-70% of the time.
Could this have something to do with insulin resistance? Right now I am not digesting food. I ate spinach and I saw spinach in my stool the same day. I really feel that I am struggling to stay alive untill the next doctors visit. I'm not sure if my pancreas is failing or what (by the way they kicked me out of the hospital with a lipase level of 600 and I was only able to eat around 300 calories a day). I asked for my blood sugar level as often as I could and they never told me it.
I feel really cold and sleep a lot and wake up with sweats. I feel very ill, very weak, I have no appetite. I know I am slowly dying and I need to figure this out to survive. I am 30 years old.
Thank you to any that read this and can help with information or guidance. Much love.
