Anyone taking Cholestyramine for IBS?

I have been taking Cholestyraine for my IBS for about 4 months. I used Cholestyramine by Par Pharmaceuticals. I seemed to be doing well on it. Just received my refill and they sent me Cholestyramine by Zydrus Pharmaceuticals and i can't stand it. It does not mix at all. I gag trying to drink it. The Par one would mix well with my 3/6 oz of water. But this new one is horrible. Has anyone had this problem?

I took it years ago when I was having trouble with diarrhea. It worked well, no problems.
