Stopped Birth Control and IBS symptoms have arrived

I stopped taking birth control because I wanted a break and I gained so much weight from being on it. But now that I stopped taking it, I’ve had IBS-D symptoms and I can’t seem to figure out any other reason why besides stopping the pill...anyone else have this happen and what did you do to help it?
