Do strictures/adhesions cause loud noises

I hope someone can help me. I have had embarrassing loud abdominal noises for years and I think it might be due to intestinal adhesions/strictures?
Has anyone dealt with this?
There is very little information about this, the symptoms for adhesions/strictures usually don't include loud stomach noises, I have only found a few websites that link the two together.
I would really appreciate any information anyone has.
