Sulpher burps?

Hi - has anyone else experienced what i learned to be called sulpher burps? Does anyone know what that is all about? It's disgusting and as soon as they start I know I am in for it - painful bloating and just the disgust of it all.

Any suggestions??

Hmm, not sure what sulphur burps are. Do they taste and smell horrible? That could be a sign of bacteria overgrowth but the best thing to do would be to mention it to a doctor. The bloating that you get would tend to suggest this even more. Are you taking probiotics at all? This can vamp up your good bacteria also.

Yes - they smell and taste horrible. This is not the first time I have heard the word probiotic when asking this question. I started drinking keifer, drinkable yogurt with live active cultures but probably not regularly enough. I will continue to look into this.

I've never had a sulphur burp, but I fart sulphur all the time!! Its sooo gross. My dad gets it when he eats something with sulphur dioxide in it (raisins, some packaged products), so maybe cut down on products with heavy preservatives. I know if I eat raisins, everyone in the room around me is doomed!!
