I tried apple cider vinegar once, long before I had gut problems (it's supposed to help you lose weight somehow), and all it did was make me nauseated and upset my bowels the next day. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone for anything except to clean house.

I just thought I'd create your own thread to give you the proper introduction.
Actually, I have not heard about ACV for D... But, I have heard that it's a natural antibiotic and fights E. Coli and the like. Like Keri mentioned, I wouldn't recommend it for D. I say try probiotics. Vinegar is way too acidic and gives me heartburn. I don't know if that is an IBS thing or if it's just me. Apples are also a big no-no for IBSers --- Does anyone know if apples in vinegar works the same way as apple juice, etc. (i.e. GAS)?
