god i am in so much pain agian now. i tryed to go out for a cycle wiht family. i got about four miles form home wehn the pain started. i couldnt move. i had to wait ages for it to esae and try and cycle very slowy home wards. i got half way and thne had bad d more thna normal. i spent ages on the loo rolling round in agnoy. eventually it passed enguoh to get home. i am now so fed up wiht this. i want to get back down the gym as i enjoy it but after haeving six months out bad d i just cant.

i thugoht thta i was geting to grips wiht it but now i just feel like i am back to where i was a couple of months ago. if not worse. i thnik i am geting worse not wiht the pain i am still the same get my good days and bad days but wiht the d. i raelly ned something to go rigth. how do yuo deal wiht it? i is affecting my life to the poiht thta going out is raelly hard and only if there is a loo. if there is no loo thne it is a no go area.

That sounds awful. It's hard to get exercise when you feel chained to a toilet.

What a horrible experience, oneday, I'm sorry. Have you tried taking any anti-D medication? You might be able to get away with ourdoor activities if you take some Imodium (or Pepto, or whatever) before you head out of the house.

god it was so horrble. i hvae tryed the d meds thye stop me from geting d. if i am gonna get it thne i will. i hvae tred a lot of meds nothing seems to work. i thnik thta my pcos has alot to do wiht my poor haelht as thta is geting worse so my other haelth is going down hill. gonna try to go to the gym if i can at end of week. i jsut feel so crap tired all the time. if i could take the loo wiht me and had more energy thne i would be fine. sod my gp teling me i am fat. i am over weihgt by about two strone well maybe three if i am honets but i dont ned her to remind me all the time. i hvae spoken to my councilor and we hvae both agred thta i hvae some isues to sort out.

not sure if i hvae mentioned before thta i lost to family menbers not so long ago and thta has ben raelly hard on me. i went thoguh so much seing thme so ill. one of thme had stomach cancer and by the time thye found out thta it was it was to late. i saw my grandad pass away over a yaer. i struggle on and hoped things would beter.

You're hardly so fat you're about to die from it. In fact, you're probably not anymore overweight than I am, and I have absolutely no weight-related health issues, so blaming everything on your weight is just fat-prejudiced crap.

I think therapy in your time of grief would help you. I don't know that it will help you deal with your constant pain and D all the time, but it may help you feel less hopeless and depressed. That goes a long ways towards making an illness a tiny bit manageable.

i spoke to my deittion yestudray abuot waht gp said. she said it was total boclks. my weigth has nothing to do wiht my haelth iususes and one of my prolbems is my constant tiredness. i hvae ben in so much pain agian yestuday and today i am off of wrok due to the pain. i was surpost to start yoga today thoguh the mental health unit who are sending me on cuorses for stress as well. thye were so nice to me thye no i hvae a lot of thnigs to deal wiht haelth being one. theye are geting someone to talk to me about the pcos i hvae. my deititon has wrote to my gp telling her waht she thniks so i am gonna see her this afteronon as i cant go on in pain like this all the time. i hvae ben ok on of for a while still in pain but beter and now i hvae ben layed up in bed.

I'm glad you finally have someone to look out for you. Shame she can't write prescriptions for medicines or tests. But hopefully she can get the wheels working for you. Did you see that article--I think Lil posted it--on the BBC talking about IBS being dismissed by too many doctors? There was a doctor's name and the college he works at listed in it. I think it would be worth your while to call and see if you can't enlist him to help. He apparently does a lot of studying of IBS and is trying to get doctors to quit telling people it's all in their heads. If anyone would listen to you, it would be him. At the very least, he might can recommend a doctor closer to where you live who you can go see who would be good.

Oneday,, It is not in your head!!!  Also it is not about your weight!!  I am very thin to thin and I have IBS..  I hate when people say must be nice to be so thin..  I feel like punching them in the face..  Just live one frickin day in my shoes!!!  Just one!!!  Sorry for the rant but I wish people would take us for real!!!!  Take Care...
