Uggh. Tell me how it is possible for your bowel sounds to be THIS hyperactive, but yet still be constipated at the same time? I've had such a good past two days, why did it start again? Grrrrrrrr.

My tummy makes the wierdest of sounds. I think its wind a lot of the time as I get these noises when Im constipated as well as D.

Me too. My gut is constantly making sounds. Funny though, because I think you start getting used to them that you can tell a "bad" noise from a harmless noise. D can be predictable some times. Sadly, not always though.

Yeah, it's funny - because I'm a nursing student (alllllmost a nurse .... I graduate in May, thank God), I have my own stethoscope and am quite accustomed to listening to bowel sounds, as we have to do it on every physical assessment we perform. And I swear, I have never heard bowel sounds as hyperactive as mine are on ANYONE in the hospital - most of the people i listen to are actually hypoactive, if anything other than normal.

Mine are insane today too, and I'm still constipated - I think I ate too much for lunch today though, so I feel yucky, and that could be part of the grumbly tummy. Going out to eat is never a good thing for me...
