probiotics question

Hi Everyone,

I have a question about probiotics. I was taking the brand flora-q then switched last month to align. (which I like) I'm waiting for my shipment of align to come, so is it ok to go back to flora-q? Do they have the same components in them so I can switch back and forth if I have to? Thanks!

Hi mala,
I don't officially have the answer BUT I don't see a problem with it. I switch back between probiotics all the time. I go from Culturelle to Kyo-Dophilus, to Digestive Advantage and Activia (soon I'll add primadophilus to the mix). Each probiotic has different culture strains and I think it keeps the gut healthy to put various different kinds in there. I would think the only problem you may encounter is gas. Even that should subside once your body gets used to the probiotic.
