Hi everyone,
I've been nauseous for about 6 weeks now.....with some dizzyness.
My h.Pylori was negative and my adbominal ultrasound was normal except for "fatty liver", which I understand is pretty common. I had lots of labs drawn about 6 weeks ago and they were all normal.
My HIDA scan is Wednesday. I just can't believe this isn't something really serious. I'm feeling sooooooooo bad.
Can a funky gallbladder cause almost constant nausea with dizziness? I just feel so sick most of the time.
I was going to call the doctor and tell him how awful I feel, but decided to wait until after the HIDA scan.
Man......this really stinks.
Keriamon..........For some reason, I just saw your older post on Gallbladder disease. Its very good! Yesterday I was at a registration/orientation for my son at the college he's going to. I had an exedrine (with caffeine) for a headache, and then I had a caffeine-free diet coke and a piece of pizze for "dinner" (food court stuff)........and I felt sooooooooooooo bad all evening. After I read your article about caffeine and sodas being big triggers for you (and pizza), it made me think more about it being my gall bladder. I'm having no real pain to speak of.
But......several nights now, I've woken up in the middle of the night and had several bouts of diarrhea. You mentioned these attacks at night too.
I wish we could have all the docs come together and run all our tests in one week. Its AWFUL seeing one doc at a time, then waiting a week for the test, then waiting for the results, then waiting for another appointment, then calling another doc and waiting, waiting, waiting.
I'm having a ton of anxiety. This is making me almost non-functional. Its hard to believe it isn't something serious when it makes me feel so bad. If the HIDA scan is normal, I think the doc will order an abdominal CT scan, and if that's normal, I think its endoscopy time. I just don't understand what's making me nauseous 90% of the time. (I'm not nauseous at night, though).
I guess I also need to go see my ENT about the possibility of an ear/balance problem. That seems like it would be more sporadic though, and not all the time.
I just can't wait to be NOT nauseous!! My mind is getting carried away, and I'm thinking its something terminal......... :(
I'm also wondering about something like an endocrine problem.
Today, my salivary glands are cramping when I eat anything!! What's going on???
