Am I getting the run around like I think I am?

Oh so this is what has happened.. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Well my dr sent me to a gi who could not fix me so he sent me to an IBD specialist who said even though the ct entogeraphy (sp) showed inflamation and mucus consistant with cd and they was inflamation in my colon and stomach the biopsy says that it is not crohns. Now my thought is unless they can biopsy every single inflammed spot how can they say for sure that is not crohn's. He said he thinks it is IBS now and put my on antibiotics used to treat e-coli (which i do not have). He said if that does not hurt he will have to send me to another gi who only does ibs..
Ok so to sum up.. Is he just giving me the run around cause he does not want to take the time to help me?
What do I have? I am confused... Is anyone else going through this..

IBS does not cause inflammation. However there are two things that a bit less severe than Crohn's that does: ulcerative colitis and something else that's milder than that. Chronic colitis, I think it's called.

Some bowel problems are caused by bad bacteria in your guts. There are a bunch of different ones out there. Some doctors will try and treat bowel problems with a round or two of antibiotics just to see if you get any better because it can be hard to diagnose the bacteria. It's kind of a shot in the dark method, but it works for a fair number of people.

Have you been tested for Celiac's and food allergies? These can cause non-ulcerating inflammation in your intestines. Because food allergies can be hard to detect, even with tests, and because some doctor's pooh-pooh them, most people find it easier, cheaper and faster to figure them out for themselves. Have you tried keeping a food diary? Gluten, diary (including the protein caesin), fish and shellfish, nuts, artifical sugar, all forms of natural sugar, and caffeine are some likely culprits.
