Hopefully we'll get some complete answers to all of this soon. And I like the doctors a lot better that want to find out the answers instead of not knowing the answers and trying to put it on stress.

I appreciate this forum and the encouragement and life's experiences to help us through this.

We will always be here.  Don't hesitate to post.  How is your daughter handling this?  I have a 16 yr old and she would fall apart if she had anything wrong with just her little finger.

My daughter is doing pretty good considering the health problems she's been having. She keeps on keeping on. Thanks.

Just came back from the urologist for my 15-year-old daughter. She does have a small kidney stone, but they think the problem where she was not able to urinate was because of her medicine for hemiplegic migraines. They did find a cyst on her ovary also. They want us to go back in 4 weeks for another ultrasound because they said the cyst can disburse (go away). Maybe that's why she has hot flashes sometimes too. I guess I should stop here, but I thought I would just update you.

Please make sure that you get your daughter to the er right away if she has sudden pain on the side where the cyst is; I too had a cyst one my ovary when I was 14 that we didn't know about, it ended up bursting and inflaming my appendix which had to be removed.

I wouldn't want her to go through that pain, she's been through enough already.

I wish I could give your daugher a big hug.....  She already has enough on her plate now a cyst on her ovary..  confused

Please take care of her... 

I had many on my right ovary which in the end I found out it was a precurser to PKD.  smhair
