Hello marip1, I saw your post & wanted to reply. This forum is not active much anymore. When I had an issue to come up because all of my numbers were off on my kidney labs, a kidney specialist was brought in. As it turned out the hospital had given me too much of a medication. I was in the hospital for something unrelated.
I am quite sure if you have a kidney disease or the potential the dr would have immediately discussed this with you. A high GFR can be the result of other issues. If this were me, I would make an appt & ask the dr about this & get an explanation so that you can understand it much better. The dr should have done this already. Take care.
