Still having pain after partial nephrectomy

In August 2017 I had a partial nephrectomy to my right kidney due to a malignant tumor. Five weeks after surgery I was still experiencing a constant ache on the right side, when I took a deep breath I would get a pain and eating food would make me feel sick. Contacted my kidney surgeon to tell them issues I was having. Was told to come see the nurse practitioner (NP) at their office. Saw the NP following Tuesday and was told it had nothing to do with my kidney, go see my primary. Saw my primary the next evening and they ordered ultrasound of gallbladder and liver, and bloodwork. Everything came back normal. Contacted kidney surgeons office again, told them I did not have this issue until the kidney surgery. NP had assistant pull up ultrasound info, then got back on phone and told me this has nothing to do with kidney surgery. Kidney is fine. I need to go back to primary. I am very frustrated and feel like a ping pong ball. I am still experiencing a constant pain/ache on my right side and if I take a deep breath I get a sharp pain. I also still get a sick feeling after I eat. Has anyone experienced this? Can anyone help me?

I am 15 months post-op from an open patial nephrectomy (20 percent of right kidney). Still having pain in right abdomen and lower quarter of same. Periodic pain in renal area.

I have the same problem. Had partial nephrectomy 3 months ago on right kidney. I still have soreness in abdomen so unable to wear jeans yet and a discomforting pain on right side where the drainage incision was. When I sleep on my right side, I feel it. It is better than before. No longer hurts when I breathe deeply, but still something there. Also my bowel movement is messed up. Went to physician assistant last week. He said intestines could get all jammed up in surgery and it just takes time to heal.
