Ok here I go..lol I knew you would end up asking them..lol
1) Do the spasms ever go away as long as I have it in?
A.... My spasms NEVER left as long as the stent was in.
2) The more active I am the worse the spasms, is this normal?
A.... YES AND YES
3) When I get it removed, it will be in my drs office; is there a possiblity that scar tissue has grown around it from being in there these past 6 weeks and if so exactly how does the dr remove it especially if scar tissue has formed?
A.... I was told scar tissue would not form in that short period of a time. When he removes it in the office it will only take seconds to be removed when he gets ahold of it.
When I'm told I have to get another stent I get so upset. I hate them. I don't hate many things but stents make the list. My doctor told me the reason my spasms were so bad is because the stent is a foriegn object and the body naturally wants to get rid of it. So it responds with spasms. Well then I guess I body also hated stents...
I chose not to have my stents removed in the doctors office. My last two doctors put me under a reversal of the procedure when they put it in. I don't want to scare you but taking a stent out in an office is barbaric to me. I have had three taken out in office. After its removed you will have a period of time of intense spasms I would say about 6 hours. You body is just reacting to it being removed.
I wish you luck. And always feel free to post to me or email. I'm always around most evening but last night I went to bed early....
