Hi . I am a female and have trouble urinatting when I am sitting down. It is a dribble and takes a long time. When I slightly stand, I can urinate normally. I have no pain. What could this be?? I have never had children.

Hello Stutterbug. Welcome to the kidney forum.
Have you ever thought of asking your doctor? It could be a narrowing or the urtetur.. (sp)

Hi. I am normally on the Lyme Disease forum. I am in between doctors right now. Can a regular GP help me with this or do I need to see a specialist? thanks, amey

Your regular PCP should be able to at least give an educated guess. If he/she feels concerned they can refer you out to a urologist. But as long as its not causing pain or discomfort it might not be serious unless your output (peeing) decreases to much.
Plus it could be a symptom to another condition so its something to think about
