Anyone on a low Potassium diet?

My husbands kidneys are "recovering" due to urinary blockage. Before they discharged him from the hospital I was told a dietician would come by. Well, she did and I wasn't there and she left her card. I called for 3 hours and she never came back.

I was wondering if anybody here is on a low potassium diet?

Yes, I have been to many, many websites that list low potassium foods, but was just wondering if anyone can give me some tips on what they eat everyday.

The doctor said "normal" protein, but not high protein also since he has some protein in his urine.

Hey Halime! Glad to hear that your husband is home!!! what great news. I was on a low potassium diet for about 3 months. I was shocked at at all the information I learned. Here is a website that I used many times a day. It has a lot of good tips, foods to eat, foods not to eat, Lists foods with High Potassium and Low Potassium.

I monitor my potassium intake with drinking a Vita Coco a day, it has the nutritional value of two bananas.
