Hi, I have LPHS, a rare kidney condition that causes severe renal colic type pain often requiring huge doses of opiates. I have had it for 10 years & learned to live happily with it. Anyone wanting info on lphs please contact me on [email protected]

Hi Alison, haven't checked my email yet to see if you replied to my last repy (long winded) to you on LPHS and my name etc. I just found this site through google search for something else and have just aslo registered.

I would be interested to know how you live happily with this disease.

Also I do have some happy days though never pain free. Thankyou also for you email that you sent that showed that I am truly not alone and should not be shut down to speak about it. It's like how does one understand unless one has walked a mile in my shoes.

I will look up the web site that you posted in your comment.
