Is this a normal part of recovery?

Hi everyone,

I had Ureteroscopic surgery on Saturday for a 4mm stone in my left kidney. OUCH! I got home the next day and about an hour later all the pain came back as though the stone had never even been removed. I have the pain again today too. It's in my left flank and into the lower left of my abdomen. Also a bit of pain in my right kidney where they had to get a few "sprinkles" of stones.

Is this type of pain normal to have after the surgery? If so, how long should I expect it to last? I don't have a fever and there's no blood in my urine.
