Most surgeons will write a follow-up of your condition and send it to your primary physician. Do you have one? If not, please get one and request that copies of the doctor's opinions be forwarded to your primary doctor. (Most of them do that, anyway, if you have a doctor of choice for your care.)
With the various surgeries you've had, you should have a physician, often an internist, who will keep tabs on your well-being following this most recent surgery.
I don't know that what you're doing is the best thing either. That's why an internist is needed to make sure that you remain in 100% good condition. I'd contact one right away for assistance and to establish a home base for all your medical needs.
