very large simple kidney cyst cause symptoms?

hi everyone! i am usually on the lyme forum but was referred by my lyme dr to a nephrologist. i had an abd ultrasnd due to discomfort/strange movement in high abd. us revealed 8.3 cm cyst on kidney. this is same side as discomfort. cyst was 5 cm 5 years ago. has anyone had kidney cyst cause discomfort by pressing against other organs??

That is a pretty big cyst, I would say it could cause some discomfort! Good thing you had the US done.

Hmmmm. long time to wait if you have pain. I hope you are comfortable.
Know that you can call them if you have an attack and/or you can go to the ER.

Keep drinking water to keep that stone and any others cushioned it will help.

hi trina i dont have pain just discomfort and no stone but a large cyst
