I wanted to post to let everyone in this great forum that Peter has given me the privilege of being a moderator here.

While I do not have any specific kidney disease I do get frequent stones and have had several surgeries to have these removed. I will do my best to help you find the information you ask for and offer all support I can.

Thanks for being the mod! I am very happy to have this site, I was hoping to find others that have what I do...well good for them that they do not : )  there are so many types of kidney problems that it would be hard to find anyone to cover them all (hopefully!).

I also go to nephcure that is another good resource.  I'm currently doing IVF and interestingly prior to that I got off the blood pressure meds which kept my ankles from swelling.  They swelled up again but now that I am on Lupron shots for IVF the swelling has gone down and less proteins in my urine again.....
