Looking for support buddy for my boyfriend (kidney transplant)

I'm reaching out to this forum in an attempt to find my boyfriend some support. He has had renal failure since birth due to bilateral hydronephrosis and has undergone 2 kidney transplants and has done years of dialysis in the past. He got his last kidney transplant over a year and a half ago, and that is working well. Over the summer he developed avascular necrosis in both hips due to chronic steroid use and had one of his hips replaced and is waiting a couple of months to have the other done. He is 30 and is quite depressed at this point in time and feels very alone. He has mentioned to me that he wishes he had someone in his life who has been through some similar things as him, because he feels so alone in everything he's been through. I don't know if anyone here has had similar experiences and would be interested in being a support buddy for him.
