Call a urologist and tell them your symptoms, get an appointment. If you don't have a urologist ask friends and family members for recommendations. Don't wait and don't worry about your past mistakes. Its more important to get an appointment. This gives you a jumping off point. If you do nothing but worry, you will not solve your issue. When you do get to your first appointment, be honest about any and all drugs you have taken and are taking now. A good doctor will not judge and needs to know. Include all prescription, over the counter, vitamins and any recreational drugs you are taking now or have taken in the past. Example I have high blood pressure and suspected lupus. My high blood pressure is not causing my chronic kidney disease, my kidney doctor has to take a biopsy to see if my lupus is the cause, if its not its quite possible that the nexuim I have taken for years is the cause of my kidney disease. He could not know that without a complete list of all my medications. Good luck with finding out what's going on. I hope you get some answers quickly. Be honest with your doctors, you might be surprised just how nonjudgmental a good doctor will be.
