I've been extremely worried the last few days about
having protein in the urine. I've also been urinating more frequently.
My doc has been unable to detect any changes in my blood (no sign of renal damage) but there are significant amounts of protein in my urine. He's sending me to a kidney specialist on Tuesday.
I have been taking nsaids for a while (At least a few months. Although I strictly adhere to the dosages on the package), so at least I know the culprit.
But now i'm even more freaked out (I should be asleep but I can't)
What can I expect at the nephrologists?
Are there any chances that taking nsaids might not have done a lot of damage?
Is there a way to reverse the damage?
Will I have to be on meds for the rest of my life?
Has anyone had similar symptoms? What did the nephrologist conclude?
