1st day at Mayo Clinic!!!!!

I hope you all are doing well. Today I had my first visit to the Mayo clinic in Scottsdale AZ. It was interesting. I met with the only integrative doctor at this location, he is originally from Rochester where he was there 20 years. He is my intake and Internal Med doc during my entire diagnostic work up and specialist visits. They took 16 tubes of blood, forgot a page and I will go back for that next week. The physical exam and history was 2 hours, very nice doctor!!!!! He knows my Hematologist too!!! I am taking a ton of records to him next week. They know I have moved to the area for the next year or so to get work ups and continue my care by their specialists for at least a year or more. The headache specialist is booked until April, but I have made it this long. Other than him, I see the other docs in the next few weeks. They spread out my appts for me as I told them too much in a week was more than I could handle. They were wonderful!!!

My PC there did state he knows the cause of part of my hip pain and it is due to being flat-footed. No other doctor has caught that before. They are probably going to check my hearing, diabetes, maybe sleep tests and things go further. To me this is worth it to find out what is going on.

I will keep you updated as I have more visits.

Keep a positive attitude and keep us posted. God Bless a good doctor they are hard to find. That's sad.
