Start out slow and gradually build to a tolerable level. I also have pain after working out and it's not just the general muscle pain people get if they overdo it. It's the all over achy bone deep pain that seems to radiate all over. My doctor has said to just try simple walking as my form of exercise as biking and running are just too hard some of us. So, I now just walk for about
10 minutes 3-4 times a day and have found that I do not have as much pain as I used to. It still gives me some form of exercise but not too strenuous.
