Thank you wonderful people so much for your answers.
On Monday I am going to call my rheumy again since I didn't hear back. My gland is still swollen, and very painful. My fever has come down though.
When they told me "mumps" or a form of mumps, I asked them why my face wasn't swollen. She said it didn't always have to be.
I always feel like the doctors are just guessing. Really, I have rarely had an answer that has satisfied me.
I am still exhuasted to the extreme. I forced myself to get out of bed for one hour, and am now at the end of that time frame. I am utterly exhausted to the point where breathing feels like a chore.
It did help to know that others have had some bilateral lymph node swelling too. I just have a feeling deep in my bones that this is lupus and not mumps, but we'll see!
Thank you again
Love and Hugs
