Our new baby is sick!  Her hematocrit is too high and she is severely jaundiced.  They think the cord was around her neck the entire pregnancy and caused her liver and bone marrow to over react.  Please pray.  Of course,  my brother and I both thought AI disease.  (he has crohn's/colitis)  They doctor said for now they have no reason to believe that it is related to our AI issues.  We are so scared.  I attended the birth and she was a deep purple and not crying when she was born.  Thanx,  Judy

Oh Judy, I'm so sorry. You must all be just beside yourself with worry. Of course I will pray. Just remember that God is good and there is nothing he can't do. Let us know whatever you learn. I'll take your prayer request to church with me tomorrow as well.

Thank you guys soooo much! Her hematocrit had come down a little last night. Her prognosis is good. Please pray that she doesn't have any organ/brain damage from the hypoxia. Thanx again. Love, Judy

I'm glad to hear the little one is doing better. That is wonderful news. I will continue to pray for more good reports. Did the doctors say they would be able to find out anything or will it takes until she is older to see if there is a problem?

I can't tell you how much I appreciate and covet your continue prayers. She doesn't "appear" to have any damage right now. It can cause some developmental delays, so time will tell. I really believe she is going to be ok. Even the staff at the hospital said that God had performed a miracle! I am so thankful. God bless you all, Judy


P.s I sure wish I new how to attach pics because she really is a pretty baby. We have alot of Choctow Indian and she looks like a little papoose!

Little Miss Priss took a turn in the wrong direction. Her hematocit is going up instead of down! Please continue to pray. Her bilirubin is coming down, Thank the Lord! They are doing "blood letting" again today. (sounds so barbaric) We are really praying she doesn't inherit our AI issues! Thanx, Judy

I hope that things continue to go well. I worry so much about how my own little one will do and have experience being terrified by serious illness in a newborn. It isn't fun.

I pray the same for you and your family redrose! Jenna Grace has to go back for labs on Thursday. If her hematocrit is still high she will be admitted again. She is awfully red! Please continue to pray. She is so precious and we are already so in love with her. Judy

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your little angel Jenna grace is being watched by many guardian angels. She is a special little one and she will be watched over and taken care of with faith, belief and all of our prayers. please keep us updated.
