Okay no one fibro is answering

Today I went to dr for normal chekup and decided as long as I'm there I'm due for TB skin Test. Got the test was fine than 2 hours later started running a fever. 99.1 I know drs say low grade. Wish someone would get it through to them low grade for them isn't low grade for me. I start of with temps 97.5.

Anyways if this isn't fibro could be a sign of lupus. Have had all test ran and everyting was normal. I do according to an ER Dr have fibro. Plus after going to Chropractor a week ago I know I have something. He put me two days worth of flaire. And no sleep.

Would like imput. I'm wondering if my body is fighting med that was put in my body? I have had TB TEst before but this is first time this has happened.

Hi Roni,

    Is the site of the TB test red with heat? I have had several TB tests in the past and almost everytime the site looks positive and I run fevers too. They always do a chest x-ray to make sure its not TB and tell me its does that because of Lupus.

    I also run low temps too so I know when it is normal or above something is going on. I hope this gets under control for you soon and you feel better.

Nope. You almost can't see where she stuck me. I just know I felt so bad all night. So far temp is down somewhat. It's at 98.3 but for me that's still a small temp. I also took 2 tyonals around 5 this morning. Like I said I had all the test for Lupus from reg. dr and nothing showed. I am going to go see nerilgist I know misspelled. The end of this month.

Hi Roni,

 

Sorry you're going through this.  I really think this is a reaction to the shot you got.  Considering the timing of when the fever started.  I'd run this past your primary doc and let them know your symptoms, just to make sure.

I did last night after I started running it she said she didn't think it was from the shot. She just though maybe the shot was causing me fibro flair. I was to afraid to take anything to bring down fever. She said it would be fine.

Hi Roni--
I suppose it's always possible you got sick from something else just by being at the doctors office. That seems to happen to me alot. I test positive for tb but don't run a fever, though I never do because my temp is so low. I hope you find an answer. I got a goofy pamphlet on fibro and it did mention something about fibro with fevers but it also says that most people with fibro with a positive ANA have another autoimmune problem, so that's clear as mud. Anyway, I hope you feel better and if you have any doubt, you should request a chest xray. They are supposed to put it just under the skin and if they don't do it right, I don't know what happens.

I figured out why my temp is going up. STRESS. When my fever went up the first time I was talking to my daughter her and I got into it. The reason why I figured it out my now as of last night my now ex b/f and I got into it. I found out he was up to old tricks talking to his ex girlfriend. So my STRESS wen up and so did my temp.

   (((Hugs))) Yes stress in bad and will cause all kind of problems for us. I hope things get less stressful for you soon so you will start to feel better. Take care and keep us updated. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

I will. A friend of mine suggested that I get my own place and stay around here so that I can keep the children and I'm going to do that.

Hi, I am new to the site so I was looking back at some of the posts. I can tell you this... my daughter whom was dx with Fibro years ago, also has Lupus. Her blood tests are all negitive, which I understand is unusual, but she has a lot if not all of the symptoms.

She started with the skin lessions on her arms, chest, face, neck.  I got her to go to a dermotologist that would biopsy one of the lessions right away. Results came back Lupus from the lab at the University of VA.

I would recomend that if you have any skin problems go to a dermotologist and get a biopsy. Then you will know for sure.

I have both Lupus and Fibro. They both suck and eventually if you have both you will figure out which is causeing what pain.

I think the eaiest way to tell a fibro flare would be serious muscle pain and having gentle touch hurt so bad you want to cry.

Redrose that one I know really well. Somedays just holding a little one that I watch can make me hurt so bad.
