hello okie ... i live in okc.

i have a question for you guys and it might sound stupid. but here goes . i have been waiting for several years before telling my doctor my symptom because most dr's look at you like your crazy or seeking. i work in the respiratory field at ou trauma so i know how it goes . well any ways here is my question, do you guys have problems passing simple essay(ana) tests i got several exposures at work and i always have to have a western blot because i have so many antigens or markers. i have been writing a journal on symtons for the last five years this all started with raynauds on all finger toes and tip of nose.then very dry eyes and other parts of bodily parts that lost the need moisture to work well. my thumbs and neck are the only place that hurt a lot sometimes i cant open anything because my thumbs dont want to work this does not happen all the time. i get so sleepy that i just want to pull the covers over my head and hide . i really thought i had mono . i just chalked it up to working to hard. untill i would lose my sight for short periods of time its not that i cant see i can but there is no depth or perception so if i am on the pc charting when this happens i have to fake charting and wait it out sometime it take 45 mines to pass and i can get a small headaches after this this only happens at work and i am terrified that some one will notice . i usually just sit in front of the pc and pretend to chart waiting for the spell to blow over .i was diagnoised with hypothyroidism(i weight 125 lbs go figure) and was put on synthroid 125 mg . i thought that was the cure to my problems . but wrong..i bruise easy i have periods from h*ll i lose 5 plbs after my monthley i have sharp muscle pains and muscle fatigue i get vasculitis . i dont get your standard malor rash but i do get a rash when i get stressed or overworked across my chheks and nose. oh i got mrsa and i took me ayear to get rid of it i was so sick i hope to never get those sores again . one other thing i get cold sore when i get my period or when i stress and canker sore. i am sorry this is so long i hate sound like a whinner
im just going crazy i am going to the rummy this month and i hope that he can make me sane again. what test should i ask for.....i wish this would all go away but i think this is just the tip of the problem any help would be very welcome. oh by the by if anything is spelled wrong forgive me this is my third night working at nigh i work 12 hrs shifts at night but i love you read your posts they calm me down when i feel like crying.....

Hi renee, welcome to the forum.

 

I think brain fog and the ability to do simple things is really hard on us. I wish I had a magic pill to take it away. I know my lupus and fibro is quiet when I can do puzzles and stuff quickly and easily.  If i'm struggling I know one of my "diseases" is active.  I've sort of learned to live with it.  That's all I can do!
