Hmmmm....interesting. I hadn't realized the MSG could impact the tongue - isn't MSG a kind of yeast? I try to avoid it when eating out or in processed food, but - you almost need to be a chemist because it has many aliases. My favorite dessert salad contains cherry jello, pineapple, apples, fresh cranberries, celery and walnuts - I still eat it once a year or so - and it never fails to produce pain afterward - somewhat lessened by the addition of real whipped cream
I think the mouth ulcers on the palate, inside the cheeks, gums, etc. are of a different sort - and may be more directly linked to lupus.
